Learning Leaps & Bounds

As I mentioned previously, we have just come down off of a mountain of activity, celebrations & family-time. Noah has finally graduated with his BS in Electrical Engineering and is currently in pursuit of a job. He has lots of options, interviews and has submitted several resumes, but now we are in the waiting game. Waiting to hear from someone...yay or nay. Waiting to see how the Lord will choose to provide for us....be it when & how we expect or something completely unexpected :) Most of the time I feel like it's an adventure not knowing what the next day will bring. Other times I feel nervous, a little scared & a tad frustrated that I feel like I can't plan anything until our income stabilizes. But I wager a lot of Americans feel that way right now so I'm not complaining! Just trying to take it in stride.

Liana is learning in leaps and bounds lately. In the past 2 weeks she has learned the following new skills/crowd-pleasers:

1) Crawling
2) Pulling herself up to standing using furniture, window sills and the like
3) Waving bye bye (now she does it much more consistently)
4) Making noise while she brushes her lips with her fingers to make the "blub blub blub" sounds. Her father taught her this, but I must say it's cute :)
5) Clapping! She learned this at the beach during our photo shoot. Probably because everyone kept clapping for her, haha.
6) Kisses <3 She makes the smacking sound with her lips if you blow kisses to her.
7) Baby dancing. Earlier this week a commercial was playing with a good bass beat and she started to bounce while she was standing up holding onto the couch. Now when we put on a song for her or there's a show/commercial on TV with music she'll often start to "dance". It's adorable :) Her favorite beats so far are fast-paced and with a good beat.

Showing off her clapping skills

So you think you can dance...

Note: The songs in this video do not represent our personal beliefs & preference. We had turned on a random music channel on our cable to see if Liana would perform :)

I love when babies perform! :) Also... Good choice, Liana - we don't need to be dancing to country music haha :)
